As a Senior IT PMO Consultant, you will support the governance, reporting, and successful delivery of strategic IT projects and programs across Amer Sports. Working closely with project teams, senior stakeholders, and leadership, you will help drive portfolio transparency, prepare executive-level decision materials, improve PMO processes and tools, and ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed standards and governance practices. Your work will contribute to better decision-making, stronger project execution, and continuous improvement across the project portfolio.

What you will be doing

• Monitor, track and report on the performance and health of the IT project portfolio, ensuring risks and deviations are identified and escalated in a timely manner.
• Support project governance by ensuring key deliverables are backed by approved business cases and comply with defined quality standards and project gates.
• Act as a PMO consultant for strategic and business-critical projects and programs.
• Prepare and quality-assure executive-level reporting and decision-making materials for senior leadership, including steering committees and executive stakeholders.
• Work closely with program and project leads to translate complex project information into clear, concise, and actionable messages.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, reporting practices, and project management tools.
• Administer and further develop project and test management tools, including Jira and Xray, while supporting their adoption across project teams.
• Support the definition and implementation of project management standards, governance practices, and reporting frameworks.
• Lead selected projects or workstreams when required.
• Serve as a key user and advanced support contact for PMO tools and processes.

What you need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in PMO, project management, program management, or project governance roles, preferably within IT or technology-driven environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting large-scale projects, programs, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project governance, portfolio management, and reporting practices.
• Excellent PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-ready presentations and steering committee materials.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Xray, MS Project, Planner, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of software delivery processes and IT project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
• A consulting mindset with the ability to structure complex topics, challenge constructively, and drive continuous improvement.
• Fluency in English.
• A collaborative way of working, contributing to shared progress within a team.
• A pragmatic, curious approach to challenges with a focus on meaningful impact
