We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team from Helsinki or Tampere in a role that combines hands-on infrastructure expertise with the opportunity to build the next generation of cloud platforms.

Your role
You'll work across two complementary areas.
First, you'll become part of our experienced platform team in Tampere, supporting business-critical Warehouse Management (WMS) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) environments. These solutions keep factories and warehouses running every day, making reliability, technical problem-solving and close collaboration with customers essential.
At the same time, you'll help design and build a modern Microsoft Azure-based cloud platform that will support software services across Sedapta and potentially other Elisa Industriq businesses. You'll contribute to a long-term transformation as industrial software evolves towards scalable, cloud-native platforms.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain and develop mission-critical customer environments.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Linux and network infrastructure.
• Work closely with software engineers, architects and customer teams.
• Design and build Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• Improve automation, monitoring, security and platform reliability.
• Help shape the future platform for industrial software used across Europe.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux.
• Solid networking and infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Hands-on experience with on premise set-up, virtualization, and scripting, with Infrastructure as Code a solid bonus
• A further bonus for proficiency in data and AI tools and services
• A collaborative mindset and an interest in solving real customer challenges.

Working internationally
Your home team is based in Tampere, Finland. During your onboarding, you'll spend significant time working alongside the local team to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of our products and customer environments.
As our cloud platform evolves, you'll also collaborate closely with colleagues across Sedapta in Italy and other Elisa Industriq businesses. International cooperation and occasional travel will become a natural part of the role.
