We are now looking for Senior / Research Scientist to join our Metals and materials recovery -team.

As a Senior / Research Scientist, you will have an essential role in to build, manage and execute large academic and customer research projects generating new scientific results in the field of hydrometallurgy.

Your responsibilities as Senior / Research Scientist:

  • to build, manage and execute large academic and customer research projects in the field of hydrometallurgy
  • to contribute to the development of our offering in hydrometallurgical process development.
  • In the project work, you will be responsible for various laboratory and pilot scale experiments including e.g. leaching, precipitation, solvent extraction, ion exchange and mechanical treatment for metals recovery from primary and secondary streams.

Who we are looking for:

  • Academic background in the relevant field, e.g. chemistry or process engineering
  • A thorough understanding of various hydrometallurgical processes
  • At least three years working experience in hydrometallurgy
  • PhD, licentiate or postgraduate studies are beneficial for the candidate
  • Previous experience of international research projects is seen as an asset
