Senior Specialist, HR - Green Bay

We are currently looking for a person for a position in Green Bay, WI as key member to our Human Resources Team!

This position is responsible to plan and implement operational day-to-day HR assignments to achieve set targets. It is the expectation of this position to know and explain facts, practices and policies to others in the organization. This position must follow established procedures and guidelines and contribute to implementing of HR policies. 

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for day-to-day HR activities within own area of expertise and support to the HR Manager as a generalist locally.

  • Maintains employee records in the HRIS and administers local payroll, including accurate time and attendance reporting and issue resolution.

  • Provide high-quality advice and service to management on employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.

  • Offer proactive recruiting assistance including advertising, screening, interviewing, background checking, testing, and job offers.

  • Coordinate onboarding, orientations, training, and employee engagement activities; create training and onboarding materials.

  • Implement and maintain HR policies and practices in compliance with State and Federal law; assist management in problem identification and resolution.

  • Partner with production management and safety teams to implement work system improvements, promote site safety, and foster positive employee relations.

  • Manage employee leave processes (FMLA, STD, WC), data tracking (HR/recruitment KPI’s, spreadsheets, databases), and employee communications (intranet, plant boards, GBTV).

Career Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, or related field; 3–5 years’ manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and ADP applications.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, prioritizing, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Self-starter with creativity and latitude; able to work independently, manage multiple projects, travel (domestic/international), and support a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
