We are now looking for two goal-oriented, innovative and business-minded Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists to join our team! 

 

Our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures that VTT attracts and selects the best professionals to help us create a better tomorrow. Our team identifies and understands the recruitment needs and plans relevant Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding actions to meet the recruitment targets. We connect with managers and business stakeholders and support them in creating a holistic talent strategy & implementing it with a coaching approach. You will have ownership of your own recruitments from the first planning & sparring discussions until making the offer and signing the contract. Our recruitments focus heavily on Talent Attraction and recruitment marketing with a strong hiring manager sparring focus. 

We are heavily development focused and have high ambitions on taking our Talent Acquisition function to the next level -we want to benchmark the world’s best Talent Acquisition practices. Our vision is to move towards Infinity Loop-model in our key growth areas. However we are still on a journey and it's good to keep in mind that we have also a lot of basic hands on recruitment work.

While working in VTT talent acquisition team, you will get to learn about diverse interesting topics from quantum computing and biotechnology to renewable, smart energy solutions and work in an organization with a meaningful mission to solve the greatest challenges of our time through science and innovation.

The position is based in Otaniemi in our brand new FutureHub office,  we work in a hybrid model, typically coming to the office 2-3 times a week, depending on individual preferences. 

 

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Carry out the recruitment processes, coach managers in recruitment activities and provide recruitment services such as aptitude assessments and recruitment marketing campaigns. 

  • Proactively identify and understand recruitment needs by connecting with business stakeholders and following recruitment data. 

  • Plan and implement relevant recruitment and employer branding actions to support successful talent acquisition and VTT’s employer image.  

  • You take ownership of a development area (or two), these might be some of the following; Process development, Recruitment technology, Employer branding content development (eg. videos or stories), candidate screening, D&I, Global Talent Sourcing, candidate & hiring manager experience, contracts and recruitment administration or hiring manager training. In these areas you will develop our Talent Acquisition & mentor your team members in best practices as well as facilitate co-development workshops in your own development areas. 

  • Participate actively in diverse development projects carried out by your team and HR team.   

  • You benchmark actively the best practices and new topics the field of talent acquisition and employer brand.   

  • You ensure the best possible candidate and manager experience with customer service mindset in VTT recruitments. 

  • In addition, you participate actively in developing talent acquisition strategies and enhancing the employer brand further together with your colleagues and in collaboration with relevant business stakeholders. 

 

 

Who we are looking for: 

  • A few years of experience as an in house Talent Acquisition specialist recruiting expert roles 

  • Experience from developing at least one of the following: recruitment processes, recruitment technology, employer branding content (eg. videos or stories), candidate screening, D&I, Global Talent Sourcing, candidate & hiring manager experience, contracts and recruitment administration

  • Direct Search experience is preferrable.
