The role:  

Your main responsibility is to test Nomentia’s cash and treasury management software. As Senior Test Automation Specialist you are part of product development, and you will work in one of our small agile teams. In this role you will work in close cooperation with developers, architects, manual testers, UX designers and product managers to ensure high quality, stable, and secure system. To succeed in this role, we hope that you are precise and have an eye for detail. You can live anywhere in Finland if you are willing to travel to Tampere, from time to time.   

Your responsibilities:  

• Test highly scalable and secure applications according to the specifications coming from product management.   

• Create clear and concise testing artifacts, including test execution and defect status reports, and create test data.  

• Produce high quality and maintainable test plans, test cases and create test reports in accordance to company testing strategy.   

• Report any problems identified in the tests to ensure customer satisfaction.   

• Participate in non-functional (e.g. load, performance, information security) testing based on business requirements.  

• Participate in quality engineering activities along the software development lifecycle: specification, development, releasing and production.   

Requirements:    

Work experience 

• Strong programming and scripting skills; at least 7 years of Robot framework experience in testing Web UIs and REST APIs. Solid experience in Python. 
• Skilled in SQL databases. 
• Extensive understanding of the software development life cycle, software testing principles, processes, and techniques.  
• Ability to create clear and concise testing artifacts including test execution and defect status reports and create test data.  
• Previous work experience in QA testing, including integration, system, regression, and user-acceptance testing.   

Agile development & team work

• Ability to work in agile development team, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving approach to work. Good communication and collaboration skills.    

Additional proficiency

• Previous experience in Docker, Kubernetes and public cloud environments is seen as an advantage.  Experience from non-functional, especially load, performance, information security testing.  

Language skills

• Fluent English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Finnish language is a plus.
