We are looking for Service Engineers(2) for our cleanroom located in Otaniemi, Espoo.

In the cleanroom, research, development, and production primarily focus on silicon-based electronic components and future technologies, including new sensors and quantum components. We offer you a broad and challenging role in research and pilot production, along with the opportunity to develop your skills within a professional maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Engineer in our team, your responsibilities would include:

• Maintenance of semiconductor industry process equipment, including LPCVD and ATM Diffusion equipment, cleaning of equipment parts, equipment development, planning and implementation of equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Work is mainly conducted in the cleanroom.

As an Equipment Engineer in our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Installation of semiconductor industry process equipment, including planning and execution of equipment installations, installation and modifications of cleanroom structures, coordination of subcontractors, updating CAD drawings, and coordination of process gases, electrical installations, vacuum lines, and exhaust lines with subcontractors. Work is mainly conducted in the cleanroom.

In addition, to the diverse tasks within your own team, you will work closely with process engineers, operators, and researchers in your area regarding equipment usage.

We expect from you

• Relevant education in electrical or automation fields
• Knowledge of vacuum technology, machine automation, cryo and turbo pumps, and remote access software is an advantage
• Experience in using and familiarity with lathe and mill machining equipment is an advantage
• Previous experience in cleanroom equipment maintenance is an advantage
• You are meticulous, precise, self-motivated, systematic, and eager to learn new things
• Your work approach is proactive and independent, but you also know how to and want to work in a team
• You communicate in both Finnish and English.
