Service Operations Manager

The role:
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our service operations unit as a Service Operations Manager. As a key partner to Professional Services teams, you will analyze and improve existing service operations processes, oversee customer onboarding, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise and collaboration will be essential in helping our team achieve its operational targets and enhance customer satisfaction. This is an exciting new position where you will have the unique opportunity to shape and influence its development from the very beginning and grow within the company over time. You can be based in our office in Espoo or Tampere, Finland, or Vienna, Austria and we offer flexibility for hybrid work.
Your responsibilities:
Process improvement and optimization
- Analyze and improve existing service operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline service delivery.
- Support project managers and consultants with structured processes and materials
Customer onboarding and support
- Oversee the customer onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and setup of services.
Data analysis and reporting
- Collect and analyze data related to service operations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on service performance metrics to senior management.
Collaboration and communication
- Work closely with sales and product management teams to define and implement service-related features and improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales operations team to ensure a good overall customer journey.
Training and development
- Develop and deliver training programs for service operations staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the service operations team.
Compliance and security
- Ensure all service operations processes comply with relevant regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with the IT and security teams to maintain the integrity and security of service operations.
Requirements:
Work experience: Proven experience in service operations or process improvement roles, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Project management: Previous project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Technology proficiency: experience with sales CRM platform such as Salesforce and/or other equivalent sales CRM platforms.
Language skills: fluent English and German (written and spoken). Knowledge of other European languages is seen as a plus.
