We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to join a major wind farm construction projects in Finland. 

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the delivery of a large-scale renewable energy project and contribute directly to Finland's green energy transition.

As Site Manager, you will act as the owner's representative on site and be responsible for coordinating all construction activities, ensuring safe execution, managing contractors and stakeholders, and driving project performance from construction through commissioning and final handover. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all daily site activities.
• Represent the project owner on site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedule, progress and critical milestones.
• Drive construction performance and resolve interface issues.
• Organize and lead site meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor contractor QA/QC activities.
• Support engineering coordination and design review processes.
• Maintain effective communication with authorities, landowners and local stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation.
• Support commissioning, energization and project handover activities. 

Requirements

Essential

• BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong experience in construction management.
• Experience from wind farms, substations, power infrastructure or major industrial projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and multiple interfaces.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English language skills. 

Considered an Advantage

• Previous experience from owner-side supervision.
• Experience from renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of Finnish construction practices.
• Finnish language skills.
• GWO certification.
