Sitedrive is a software company creating digital tools for construction sites to help them change based on our in-depth understanding of construction business and lean principles. We are a leading provider of construction site scheduling software and aim to change how construction sites are operated. We have history of 6 years as a part of construction company Fira, but are today an independent software company.

We are now looking for Software/solution Architect to join our team!

You are an experienced software professional who has good understanding of software architecture and has worked with code. You love solving problems and figuring out possible solutions together with business people and developers. You know how to keep the big picture clear in your head while simultaneously looking for practical solutions for the situation at hand. You are able to clearly explain your ideas to others.

Your role in Sitedrive is to ensure our software architecture is future proof and aligned with company vision. Through that you help teams working independently to meet common goals.

Technologies we are using include, GraphQL, NodeJS, React, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, Java, Android and IOS native, PostgreSQL, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Firestore. Our data platform is based on Google cloud platform (Bigquery, Dataform, Composer, DataFusion, Workflows).

Knowledge of some of these is an advantage in the job, but more important is the general understanding on modern software development and tool possibilities. Experience on modern data tools – in particular in the Google cloud ecosystem – is an advantage.

Good oral and written English is required in all roles. Understanding Finnish is an advantage in customer facing roles, but not mandatory.

Our office is located in Otaniemi, near Aalto university. We are flexible also regarding working remotely.
