To strengthen our Business IT team, we are looking for a

SOLUTION EXPERT, PRODUCTION EXECUTION

Wipak Group Business IT Solution Expert team supports our global business by developing, maintaining and improving business-critical systems and processes. We work closely with our stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions and promote harmonized ways of working across Wipak.

In this role you will act as a key link between production, automation and IT. You will share ownership of the Production Execution solution area with another Solution Expert. Together, you will ensure reliable production operations while driving the development of our MES landscape, machine integrations and digital manufacturing capabilities.

You will collaborate with production teams, automation specialists, key users and external partners to identify improvement opportunities, translate business needs into sustainable solutions and shape the future direction of the solution area. You report to Development Manager.

This full-time position can be based at any Wipak location in Europe. We value flexibility and offer the possibility of hybrid working. The role includes a moderate amount of travel to Wipak sites.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), production execution processes and the interaction between shopfloor systems and business applications
• Experience with machine and system integrations, including PLC, DCS, industrial interfaces or other shopfloor connectivity technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting and coordinating complex system integrations involving multiple stakeholders
• Ability to translate business and production requirements into practical system solutions
• Understanding of ERP systems and their integration with production systems. SAP knowledge is considered an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a shared ownership model, jointly coordinating priorities, responsibilities and development activities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in an international environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up to date with industry developments
• Ability to manage multiple activities and development initiatives while maintaining alignment with business objectives
• Fluency in English

Experience in international manufacturing, MES, automation, machine connectivity, production data collection or ERP-related projects is considered an advantage. Experience with SAP or LEAN methodologies is also beneficial. Knowledge of German, Finnish or French is considered an asset.
