We are now looking for a talent or future talent to join our Facility team as a Specialist in facility administration.

Facility team is a part of VTT’s Infra and in-house service in the Business Support unit. Facility team’s tasks range from different subjects concerning facilities, agreements as well as facility related services. Whether it is Finland's first quantum computer, bioreactors related to future food production, future energy solutions, or innovations related to the circular economy, our Facility team members support research work by providing the infra-services.

In this role you have the possibility to develop our ways of working and support the Facility team and other VTTers with your expertise. You work closely with the various functions of the organization, and you have a possibility to participate in various cross-functional development projects in the Business Support unit.

 

Your responsibilities:

As a Specialist in facility administration, you will concentrate on budgeting, following and forecasting facility costs. With help of the facility management system, you manage VTT’s facilities and lease agreements. You act as a contact person with facility service providers and take care of facility procurement tasks.

Your daily duties include different tasks in facility administration, and you support VTT’s supervisors in enquiries concerning facility and research environment questions.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • You have Bachelor’s degree or similar and have work experience in facility administration.
  • You are interested to act as a main user in facility management system.
  • Collaboration with service providers is familiar to you. 
  • You are eager to learn new skills and ways of working.

You tackle challenges and tasks unprejudiced and with a solution-centered attitude. Careful work ethic, coordination skills, and skills related to job planning and time management are also important. You have fluent oral and written Finnish and English.
