In this position you will be a member of team of security and information security specialists, which is part of VTT’s Security function lead by the Head of Security. In this role you have a possibility to become a top talent in risk management. The role can also be modified to match your expertise and ambitions.

What you will do:

In this role you will have the overall responsibility and ownership of reporting and analyzing VTT’s exposure in various operational risks, which can vary from personal protection to information systems and satellites. Position includes coordination of Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities. Your team works in close collaboration with different Business and Research Areas. Your responsibilities include risk monitoring and reporting and development of processes and tools around them. In your role you will provide reports and analyses to enable sound risk decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree or similar.
• Prior experience in the field of risk management and security.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and at times high workload.
• Precision and an eye for the details.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise at different levels in the organisation and to engage other stakeholders.
• The Ability of being self-driven, enjoying taking initiative and willing to actively enhance own knowledge and skills through training and learning.
• A good team player but also able to take initiative and responsibility.
• Fluent oral and written Finnish and English.
