Suominen's Sustainability team’s target is to further strengthen the company’s position as a leader in sustainability. Core projects of the sustainability team include CSRD and taxonomy reporting, GHG & LCA assessments and leading the implementation of Sustainability agenda 2025-2030.

As a specialist, sustainability you will primarily participate in Suominen’s CSRD reporting. In this role, you will dive deep into CSRD reporting by participating in our sustainability data collection processes, create text content to the report and further participate in CSRD related developmental projects together with Manager, Sustainability.

Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate and coordinate with data owners from various departments globally to gather data for the CSRD aligned Sustainability Statement, as well as ensure the accuracy of the data
• Create and edit narrative information into the Sustainability Statement together with subject matter experts
• Support in ensuring that reporting follows regulatory requirements
• Develop sustainability data management process and tools further together with the data owners
• Collaborate with Manager, Sustainability in diverse CSRD aligned sustainability development projects

The ideal candidate will have:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Experience in sustainability reporting and CSRD requirements
• Willingness to work in a global role
• A motivated and result oriented mindset with a can-do attitude
• Strong oral and written communication skills, both in Finnish and English
• Capability to understand industrial production processes
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good teamwork and networking skills

The position will be based in our head office in Espoo and it is a fixed-term position for one year. Starting time would be preferably as soon as possible or latest in the beginning of January, 2026.
