Statistical Consultant (f/m/d)

camLine specializes in the development of software within the scope of production automation. For over 30 years, customers worldwide rely on camLine's expertise and professional support.

For one of our product teams we are looking for a motivated Statistical Consultant who provides statistical advice, analysis and training, and develops, tests, executes and evaluates appropriate procedures for a C++/R application for data analysis.

Your tasks

• Statistical consultation and training for product teams and customers
• Creating concepts for the implementation of new statistical methods
• Collaboration in the development, testing and documentation of analytical features
• Prototypical implementation in R.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in the field of statistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, or comparable studies
• Experience in sharing statistical expertise and solving problems with analytical and descriptive statistics
• Solid programming knowledge in R, ideally experience in the development of R packages, other programming languages like C++, Python or JavaScript, are a plus
• Experience with software development and testing, and experience with Git are a plus
• Experience with production automation esp. in semiconductor industries is a plus
• Independent, structured, and quality-conscious approach to work
• Strong teamwork skills
• Fluent in English and German.
