Supply Chain Manager, Steerprop
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations and play a key role in supporting our rapid growth. In this position, you will oversee the full scope of supply chain activities, from supplier management to inventory planning, working closely with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and support our cutting-edge propulsion technology.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Leading the supply chain and internal logistics team, ensuring efficient and reliable operations
- Managing supplier relationships, long-term agreements, performance monitoring and reporting, as well as supplier audits and visits
- Overseeing demand, inventory, and supply planning to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize risks
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, production, and logistics to support new product introductions and lifecycle changes
- Driving continuous improvement in lead times, cost efficiency, and overall supply chain resilience
- Developing and optimizing supply chain strategies to support production planning, aftermarket operations, and customer projects
- Contributing to ongoing development of SCM processes and best practices
The skills and experience we value:
- Proven experience in supply chain or operations management, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong understanding of technical components, engineering documentation, and BOM structures
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- A customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- Fluency in both spoken and written Finnish and English
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent)

In this role, you will report to the Purchasing Director, with your office located in Rauma, Finland.
