Lapland Staff is looking for waiters for the Christmas season 2024, for Lapland Safaris Saariselkä.
Lapland Safaris’ waiters mainly work as lunch waiters in an international work environment in Lapland Safaris’ private restaurants. The work is versatile and fast-paced teamwork, where everyone’s contribution is important. Within the limits of your interest and skills, you can also work in breakfast and À la carte shifts at Lapland Hotels Riekonlinna.
On your days off you can get to know the amazing arctic nature and do multiple winter activities. Many of our employees think that the best part of the job are the great colleagues, from all over the world. The high season is quite intensive, so many things happen in a short period of time. It’s quite nice that your workstation is surrounded by Lapland's amazing photo scenic views.
The waiters we are looking for are flexible team players. We expect our waiters to have good English skills so that communication with the team and customers goes smoothly. A positive and happy attitude is a prerequisite for this work, this way we as a team can ensure the success of our customers’ holiday experience!
Other language skills, work experience in the customer service field, and a Finnish Food Hygiene Certificate are considered an advantage.
You need to have EU-citizenship/passport or valid working permit to Finland.
We offer you:
Work starts on 20.11 and lasts until the end of December or March 2025. The employment relationship is a fixed-term seasonal job. Hourly wage according to Collective Agreement for employees in hotel, restaurant, and leisure industry, grade 4: starting 13 € gross per hour. Sundays and Finnish bank holidays are paid double. Accommodation is usually organized in shared rooms, with a reasonable rent in comparison to the local price level. Please note that Lapland Safaris is a non-smoking company.
