TECHNICAL FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
As a Technical Field Service Engineer, you will be taking over a versatile range of responsibilities focusing on providing our customers the best possible experience when using our products. You utilize your professional experience to support the development of our customers’ businesses. You are used to travelling and meeting customers face-to-face at their sites providing them support and solutions. You also visit our own site at Nastola regularly to meet with your team and other stakeholders. This employment is permanent and full-time.
Here is a summary of the responsibilities
Working in a vital expert role at the customer interface, your tasks will include:
- Providing on-site technical support to our customers
- Conducting test runs on customers’ packaging machines and optimizing their packaging processes.
- Handling customer feedback and providing support in claim handling.
- Presenting our products to the customers
- Planning and organizing packaging solution trainings for the customers with the sales team.
- Close cooperation within your R&D team, with other internal units such as sales, quality, and production, and most importantly, with our customers.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A deep understanding about the packaging industry and hands-on experience with packaging machines.
- A degree in engineering, packaging technology, or a related technical field
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving customers’ production issues.
- Genuine interest in working closely with customers to provide the best possible on-site support.
- Ability to act and make decisions very independently especially when being on customer site.
- Fluent proficiency in Finnish and in English both spoken and written – our customers are in Finland and across Europe.
- Previous experience travelling for business– more than 50% of your work time is spent travelling.
