Test Automation Specialist

Our R&D Department is now looking for test automation specialist to join us, as we have our hands full with the increasing demand of our Cash management SaaS solutions.

As part of the Product development team, you will be working in small agile team of 3-5 developers, architect, manual tester, UX designer and product manager. You will also have several test automation specialist colleagues, which will ensure smooth transition to our tools and ways of working.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Participate in Quality engineering activities along software development lifecycle: specification, development, releasing and production
  • Produce high quality and maintainable test plans, test cases and create test reports in accordance to company testing strategy
  • Special focus on non-functional (e.g. load, performance, information security) testing based on business requirements
  • Test highly scalable and secure applications according to the specifications from product management
  • Reports any problems identified in the tests to ensure customer satisfaction

Who we are looking for

We greatly value if you have:

  • Several years of QA testing experience including non-functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, ideally with DevOps experience and mindset
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle, software testing principles, processes and techniques
  • Ability to create clear and concise testing artifacts including test execution and defect status reports and create test data
  • Knowledge of professional software development process and concepts, experience with working in agile development team
  • Good communication, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good co-operation skills, discuss, listen and learn from others
  • Are not afraid to ask questions
  • Fluent written and verbal English. Basic Finnish language skills are also needed.

 

In addition, we would highly value if you have experience with:

  • DevOps toolchain: CI (Jenkins), Docker, Azure
  • Robot Framework

 

The ideal candidate is precise, he or she has an eye for detail, and ability to stay focused while working on different tasks at the same time. Good interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential in order to ensure an effective and smooth teamwork.
