We are now looking for a Transformation Manager to join our Microelectronics and Quantum Technology research area.

In this role, you will plan and drive forward transformation of new operational models  supporting growth and new business models in VTT’s Microelectronics and Quantum Technology research area. This role focuses on implementing the new operational models required to support new business models in R&D and pilot fabrication.

Our research area develops cutting-edge microelectronics, photonics, and quantum technologies, with applications in 6G, new space, defense, electrification, and medical sectors. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of technology and accelerate innovation in collaboration with leading companies, universities, and research organizations.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead transformation initiatives within microelectronics and quantum technology organization from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed plans for transformation and drive their implementation
• Identify and mitigate risks and resistance to change.
• Develop and deliver communications, training, and engagement plans for diverse stakeholders.
• Define success metrics and report progress to leadership teams.
• Collaborate with research and project teams to ensure change is embedded and benefits are realized.
• Provide coaching and support to employees and partners at all levels.

Who we are looking for:

• Proven experience managing transformation or change programmes in technology-intensive and innovation environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to present clear, concise reports to senior leadership.
• Experience delivering complex programmes involving advanced technologies, R&D, sustainability or digitalisation.
• Skilled in risk management, benefits realisation, and change impact assessment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Deep understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
• Relevant degree in technology, business, or change management.
• Change management certifications (e.g., Prosci / ADKAR, APMG Change Management Practitioner) are considered an asset.
• Experience from semiconductor industry is an asset
