Two Senior Lecturers in Corporate Environmental Management
Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) is seeking to recruit two Senior Lecturers, Corporate Environmental Management, starting 2.1.2026 or as soon as possible after that. The position is in effect until further notice
The main duties of the Senior Lecturer focus on teaching and research in the field of Corporate Environmental Management. Teaching is provided at the level of intermediate and advanced studies, both in the Bachelor's (Business Innovation and Sustainability, BIS) and Master's programmes (Corporate Environmental Management, CEM). The core areas of teaching in the discipline are sustainability transformation in business, material flow models, sustainable business strategies and models, stakeholder relations, sustainable marketing, and research methods. The Senior Lecturer also supervises Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral theses and participates in teaching development. The duties include independent research on topics relevant to Corporate Environmental Management and acquiring external funding. The position is based in Corporate Environmental Management discipline.

The duties and qualification requirements of a Senior Lecturer are stipulated by the University of Jyväskylä Regulations and language skills guidelines. The primary language of instruction is English, and good proficiency in English is required. The position is located in Jyväskylä, where contact teaching takes place. A trial period of six months will be used at the beginning of the employment.

The salary for a Senior Lecturer is determined based on the task-specific demand level 6–7 of the university salary system for teaching and research staff. The salary range will be approximately 4200-5500 €/month (gross income), depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
