We are looking for Deck Outfitting Designers / Lead Engineer in our Turku office
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design engineering for various deck equipment / systems
- Layout and arrangement design engineering
- Preparing of technical specifications for deck equipment/systems
In addition to above, Lead Engineer roles & responsibilities include:
- Previous experience from Lead Engineering / Manager roles
- Coordination between internal and external stakeholders in projects
- Quality control of the design material
- Act as a technical expert to Project Manager
- Participating in technical sales
As an ideal candidate for this position, you have:
- Technical background / Education (M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering)
- Experience from design engineering of ship systems and/or structures
- CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Aveva E3D)
- Verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
