The Role

If you apply successfully for this position, you’ll get a front-row seat in AB Enzymes’ New Business Development. You will be the right hand of the Director of New Business Development, working on business strategy, sourcing topics for New Business Development and doing market analysis & opportunity assessment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand and identify trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
  • Evaluate ideas and topics around enzymes, proteins, fermentation technologies
  • Analyze new business opportunities
  • Support compelling proposals and assist creation and planning of technical feasibility studies

About You

  • You are a bachelor or master student in biotechnology, biochemistry, or other scientific-related field or in business administration or innovation
  • You want to drive innovation and have a growth mindset, you are proactive, result driven, self-motivated with a hands-on attitude and the ability to work independently
  • You have a solid knowledge about enzymes & proteins, microbial strains & cultures, fermentation and associated technologies
  • Understanding of different markets dynamics and emerging trends in biotech is a plus
  • Knowledge about agile business development and innovation or in strategic marketing is a plus
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus
