Customer Service Elf, Santa Claus Office, Rovaniemi

Lapland Staff is looking for Customer Service Elves for Santa Claus Office, Rovaniemi for the autumn, Christmas, and winter seasons of 2026–2027.

If you have always dreamed of being part of the magic of Christmas, this is your sign to join the Elf Team. The work is magical - but also intense and hard work. As a Customer Service Elf you are involved in guest’s memorable, unique experiences and that makes the job rewarding.

Every winter, people from all over the world travel to Finland to meet Santa Claus. Santa Claus Office welcomes approximately 600,000 visitors each year, most of whom arrive from abroad. On a typical day, you will meet a large number of international guests of all ages. Fluent English is essential for this role, and additional language skills are a strong advantage.

In this role, you will guide guests throughout their visit; capture their meeting with Santa, sell photographs and other products, and ensure that their experience feels smooth and meaningful - even when the pace is fast and the queues are long. You will see children meeting Santa for the first time, adults reconnecting with something they thought they had lost, and families creating memories they will carry with them for a lifetime. Even after a long day, a single look, a smile, or a quiet thank you can remind you why this place is so special.

The work can be physically and emotionally demanding, especially during the peak season in December and early January. It requires the ability to stay calm under pressure, to not take stress personally, and to support both guests and colleagues during busy moments.

What we offer you:

  • A comprehensive introduction to work tasks
  • Valuable experience in customer service work in a unique, international work environment
  • A great team, a wonderful work environment, and encouraging supervisors
  • Comprehensive staff benefits of Lapland Hotels & Lapland Safaris. You will receive benefits for example from equipment rental, restaurants and Lapland Ski Resorts’ lift tickets.

You don’t need previous experience in a similar position. What matters most is your willingness to learn, grow in your role, and contribute to creating meaningful experiences for guests of all ages. All new elves receive full training before starting. We look for people with a positive attitude, a natural sense of care for others, and a genuine interest in customer service.

We are looking for people for various employment relationships for the fall, Christmas, and winter seasons. The duration of the contract is negotiable; the work will start on 5.10.2026, at the earliest. The employment will last either until the end of December 2026 or latest until 25.4.2027. Santa Claus Office is open every day of the year, and work shifts will take place on weekends and public holidays.

The average minimum working hours are 35 hours per week. The employment relationship is a fixed term seasonal contract by the Collective Agreement in the Adventure Services sector. Salary according to the Collective Agreement of Adventure Services grade B, hourly wage starting from 12,20–13,30 € (gross). Sundays and Finnish public holiday are paid double.  Possibility to stay in staff accommodation, in a shared room, with a reasonable monthly rent.

Please note that the Santa Claus Office is a non-smoking working place.

Interviews are conducted and hiring decisions are made already during the application period, so if you are ready for a job unlike any other, and want to be part of something meaningful, apply soon!
