We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Foundation Works Supervisors to join several major wind farm construction projects in Finland.
The first assignments are expected to commence during late 2026 and early 2027, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale renewable energy developments from the early stages of construction. Foundation works are among the most critical phases of a wind farm project, making this role essential to successful project delivery.
As a Foundation Works Supervisor, you will oversee foundation construction activities on behalf of the project owner, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to technical specifications, quality requirements, and project schedules. You will work closely with Site Managers, Civil Supervisors, Electrical Supervisors and contractors throughout the construction phase.
We are recruiting for multiple Foundation Works Supervisor positions as our renewable energy project portfolio continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise foundation construction activities on site.
- Ensure high-quality execution of foundation and civil works.
- Work closely with the Site Manager to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor contractor QA/QC and HSE performance at field level.
- Follow contractor progress and performance against contractual requirements.
- Support project delivery and construction progress monitoring.
- Identify project risks and participate in mitigation planning and follow-up.
- Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical and turbine installation activities.
- Participate in design reviews and contractor meetings.
- Support effective collaboration between contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience supervising foundation works, civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of wind farm construction processes.
- Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
Considered an Advantage
- Wind turbine foundation experience.
- Experience with large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of contractor QA/QC processes.
- Owner-side supervision experience.
- Experience working on infrastructure or industrial projects.
