Santa’s Secret Hideaway Kelokaira Elf, Lapland Safaris

Lapland Staff is looking for Elves to the Lapland Safaris Elf Village in Muonio for the Christmas season 2025!

Elf´s job is the most fun of them all! An Elf is at the same time an entertainer, a storyteller and a mythical creature of Christmas. Elf makes sure that everyone has a smile from ear to ear and a bit of excitement also in the belly. After all, quite an important event will happen in the Elf Village: a meeting with Mr Santa himself!

Elf works fluently both alone and as part of the team, depending on the workplace and role in the Elf Village. As an Elf you will create the magical story of Christmas together with your Elf family. Your most important tools are your positive, outgoing and energetic character, creativity, as well as your strong performing and improvisational skills. Elves are working in performers and actors’ roles in the Elf Village during the whole day and sometimes the work shifts are long, which is why good pressure tolerance ability and flexible attitude are a big help.

Elf Village has several workshops for guests to learn important Christmas-related tasks by the guidance of elf such as making the nice gift bags and ribbons, learning to speak the mystical elf language and to do the secret handshake, as well as decorating Christmas cookies. In addition, the guests will get to learn about the elves’ daily life and stories in the village, discover their own Elf name and write letters to Santa.

Daily maintenance, some light snow work, cleaning the cabins and facilities as well as feeding the reindeer are also important tasks in the elf village to do.

What we expect from you:

  • Playful and jolly Elf attitude

  • Christmas spirit and love for Christmas

  • Good social skills especially with children
