Summer work in Spa Hotel

We are looking for energetic and reliable service providers to join our sunny group
for cleaning tasks at Hotel & Spa Resort in Rantasalmi
during summer season.
To start the work in schedule requires a valid work permit in Finland.
The duties includes
- Cleaning tasks of the villas (changing linens, vacuuming and wiping floors, cleaning bathrooms and wiping surfaces).
- Vacuuming, wiping and other cleaning of the hotel's public areas (lobby, toilets, corridors, restaurants, meeting rooms and stairs).
- Cleaning of spa facilities (pools, saunas, showers and changing rooms).
- Filling supplies: equipping spa facilities and common areas (detergents, towels, hand and toilet paper).
- Teamwork and communication with hotel and accommodation staff, as well as communication with guests if needed.
- Inspection and reporting: Reporting damages and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Cleaning equipment and materials management: Cleaning equipment maintenance and cleaning materials replenishment.
- Safety and hygiene: The spa hotel has safety and hygiene instructions, especially on the use of chemicals and waste handling.
Employment starts: Fist summerworkers starts in April–May, the rest from early June.
Work is available until the end of August, to some until September.
We hope you can commit to the summer job for at least 2 months. We offer a work period of 2-5 months.
Working hours: Shifts start in the morning on a staggered schedule between 6:00 and 11:00, and last 4–8 hours.
There are also occasional evening/night shifts at the spa starting from 22:30.
Shifts are announced in advance on the shift schedule, and we also welcome shift requests.
Weekly working hours total 15–30 hours, depending on the weekly workload.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Sufficient Finnish and/or English language skills to support onboarding and work safety.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a car (there is no public transport to the site).
- Good time‑management skills.
- Being at least 18 years old.
- A positive, customer‑oriented attitude and willingness to commit to the role.
Experience:
Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not required — we will provide thorough training for your tasks.
Working language:
The main working language is English, but Finnish skills are considered an asset.
The salary is according to Collective agreement for workers in the property services sector, salary group 2-3 (11.94-12.54€/h).
Training period 11,03€/h.
