We are looking for
CLEANERS FOR THE SUMMER SEASON
at a logistics industry site, where work is also done in cold storage areas.

At this site, operations run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so shifts are available in three rotations. Mainly morning and evening shifts from 6 AM to midnight, but night shifts are also possible.
Please be prepared for shift work!

Job description:

• The work is physical (including stairs, bending, carrying loads) and temperature varies from +8°C to -25°C.
• Interesting work environment, pleasant coworkers, large team!
• Most of the work takes place in production areas, which includes operating pallet trucks, climbing stairs and carrying loads, using various cleaning machines: scrubber-dryers, steam cleaners, industrial vacuum cleaners.
• The job also includes traditional cleaning of office, toilet, and locker room facilities.
• Safety instructions must be understood and internalized in Finnish or English.

Requirements for applicants:

• Fluent Finnish or English
• Willingness to work morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Good physical condition
• Must be of legal age (18 at least)
• Occupational Safety Card

Also an advance:

• Driver's license makes commuting to the site easier. (Use of own car is recommended, but the site is also accessible by bus from Kerava station between 5 AM and 10 PM.)
• Previous experience in cleaning work is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Thorough training will be provided.
   

Working hours: According to the shift schedule, 5 days a week. Shifts are between Monday and Sunday, in the following time slots: 6 AM-2 PM, 10 AM-6 PM, 2 PM-10 PM, 7 PM-3 AM, 10 PM-6 AM Weekly working hours accumulate to 37.5h/week. The shift schedule is always prepared in advance, and work time wishes are considered when possible.

Salary: According to the Real Estate Services Collective Agreement, wage group 1 (11,03€/h) and later also 3 (€12.54/h) + evening, night, and Sunday supplements (according to shifts, which vary). 

Start date: As agreed. Training will begin well in advance of the peak summer holiday season. The need for summer workers in from May to Septemper; the greatest need is for June, July, and August. We hope that you can commit to the job for at least 8 weeks, preferably longer.
