Lapland Staff is looking for cooks (buffet) and kitchen helpers (buffet) for the Christmas and winter season 2025-2026, for Lapland Safaris Saariselkä.
Lapland Safaris cooks and kitchen helpers work in the companys private restaurants Kaamoskammi and Revontuli Court. Kaamoskammi has 96 seats for guests and Revontuli Court 84. The job is mainly lunch service and some evening events and catering for our international guests. The work includes the preparation and presentation of cold and warm food served from the buffet, as well as cleaning the kitchen.
The work environment is international, and our working language is English. The Christmas season is a busy time, so we expect you to be ready to work in a busy environment with a positive attitude.
On your days off you can get to know the amazing arctic nature and do multiple winter activities. Many of our employees think that the best part of the job is great colleagues from all over the world. The high season is quite intensive, so many things happen in a short amount of time. Its great that your workstation is surrounded by amazing photo scenic views of Lapland!

The employment relationship is a fixed term seasonal contract according to the Collective Agreement for employees in the hotel, restaurant, and leisure industry. The work starts on 24.11.2025 and lasts until the end of December 2025 or March 2026. Cooks' salary starts from 13,32 €/hour (gross) according to the demand group 4 of the salary scale. A kitchen helpers' salary is according to the demand group 1 of the salary scale, starting at 11,63 € hour (gross). Work will be done also during weekends and public holidays. Sundays and Finnish bank holidays are paid double. Accommodation is organized in shared rooms, with a reasonable rent in comparison to the local price level.
