Would you like to be involved in building world-class vessels and lead a team that ensures their high-quality finishing? Uudenkaupungin Työvene Oy is looking for an experienced Painting and Surface Treatment Supervisor for its shipyard in Uusikaupunki to be responsible for the implementation of surface treatment processes for vessel steel structures. In this role, you will lead a skilled team and ensure that surface treatment work is carried out with high quality and safety.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supervision: You are responsible for the daily leadership of the surface treatment team and the organization of work.
• HSE: You ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental requirements.
• Documentation: You prepare and maintain the necessary reports and documentation.
• Inspections and testing: You carry out quality assurance, inspections, and surface treatment tests.

We expect you to have strong expertise and experience in surface treatment of steel structures and painting processes. You are able to manage both details and the overall picture and are capable of leading your team effectively. You have a good understanding of HSE requirements, and in terms of documentation you always work accurately and systematically. We expect you to have fluent English language skills.
