Snowmobile Sleigh driver, Lapland Safaris Saariselkä
Lapland Staff is looking for Snowmobile Sleigh drivers for Lapland Safaris Saariselkä, for the Christmas season 2026.
The main task of a Snowmobile Sleigh driver is to act as a driver pulling a sleigh full of guests with a snowmobile. Sleigh drivers work outside in Christmas-themed activity areas, spreading joy and transporting international Christmas groups, mainly consisting of families. The work is independent, but there are several other drivers in the same area, so the work is done as part of a larger team.
Duties also include providing clothing to our guests, as well as clothing maintenance. Your working day may include preparation tasks for the activity area and possibly dismantling and cleaning the activity area after the program ends, together with a team consisting of activity and safari guides and sleigh drivers.
The length of working days varies according to the group and program. The work is done both on weekdays and on weekends, also on Christmas holidays, and the days can be long. We value flexibility in working hours and good pressure tolerance.
Your journey as a Lapland Safaris Sleigh Driver will be facilitated by an active and brisk attitude and a good ability to communicate both with the team and guests. The working environment is international, so we expect you to speak English fluently. Other language skills, especially Spanish, are considered an advantage in this position, as well as experience with motorized vehicles and work in the tourism industry. The job requires a class B driver's license. In addition, please note that in order to work in Finland, EU-citizenship/passport or valid working permit to Finland is required. Lapland Safaris provides new employees with paid, role-specific training at the beginning of their employment.
The employment relationship is a fixed term seasonal contract by the Collective Agreement in the Adventure Services sector. Work will begin in mid-November and will last until the end of December 2026. Salary according to the Collective Agreement of Adventure Services grade A, hourly wage starting from 10,10 € (gross). Work will be done also during weekends and public holidays. Sundays and Finnish bank holidays are paid double. Accommodation is organized in shared rooms, with reasonable rent in comparison to the local price level.
