Service Supervisor for Cleaning Sites in the Food Industry
We are looking for a skilled
SERVICE SUPERVISOR FOR FOOD INDUSTRY CLEANING SITES IN VANTAA AND CENTRAL UUSIMAA REGION
for a permanent, full-time position.
The work is located in demanding food industry sites in Vantaa and central Uusimaa region. The position requires strong commitment, and shifts may be scheduled for mornings, evenings, and nights. We are looking for a self-directed, active, and eager-to-learn supervisor who is ready to take responsibility and develop their operations. The work environment is international, and in this role, you will become part of the Finnish food chain and its safe production.
As a Service Supervisor, your job description is diverse and responsible. Your tasks include:
- Personnel management and guidance: Team leadership, recruitment, training, shift planning, employee orientation.
- Quality control: Inspection of cleaning work quality, ensuring work is done according to SOL's quality standards. Collecting and processing customer feedback.
- Work planning and organization: Planning and creating schedules for cleaning tasks.
- Customer cooperation: Maintaining and developing customer relationships, preparing offers and contracts for customers.
- Resource management: Procurement of cleaning equipment and materials, inventory management, budget monitoring, and cost control.
- Workplace safety: Ensuring occupational safety and well-being. Ensuring the safety, ergonomics, and ethics of the work environment and working methods.
- Reporting and documentation: Preparing reports on work progress, as well as possible obstacles and delays. Data collection and documentation of tasks and results.
- Development work: Improving cleaning methods and practices. Participating in industry training.
The role of a cleaning service supervisor requires good organizational and leadership skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work flexibly and efficiently in changing situations.
Working hours: Flexible and variable, including morning, evening, and night shifts. Weekly working hours total 37.5.
Start date: As agreed.
We expect from the applicant:
- Must be of legal age
- Hygiene passport
- Good Finnish and English language skills
- Experience in the cleaning industry
- Presence and active support and guidance for employees and customers
- Ability to work independently and schedule and lead own and team's work
- Flexibility, self-direction, and commitment
We consider it an advantage to have knowledge of food industry requirements and additional language skills.
