We are hiring a

Product Development Engineer, Electrics

Location: Kurikka Defense Manufacturing Unit

As a Product Development Engineer, Electrics, you will be responsible for electrical design and engineering in development projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for off-highway and defense operator cabins according to customer requirements and applicable standards
• Communicate with customers within your area of responsibility

You will work as part of the Defense Technology Team and collaborate with various stakeholders, including customers, in-house production, suppliers, subcontractors, and external test laboratories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in demanding electrical systems development projects
• Genuine interest in designing and developing high-quality products and understanding customer requirements
• Strong knowledge of CAD electrical design software
• Good communication skills and hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel for business (approx. 10 days/year)
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English

Considered an Advantage

• Experience in operator cabin and off-highway machinery business
• Experience and knowledge of EMC requirements
