Regional AR & AP Specialist
Our customer Brother is looking for a Regional AR & AP Specialist. The position is full-time and permanent, and the employment contract is formed directly with Brother. The workplace is located along good transport links in Vantaa. The work is mainly done at the office, but partial remote work is possible. We hope that you could start in the position as soon as possible.
About the role
In this position, you will support the European ARAP Shared Service Centre team by ensuring smooth and accurate processing of financial operations. Your role will be essential in maintaining high-quality financial data, supporting business operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations within a pan-European team
- Process customer and supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time
- Handle credit control and monitor outstanding receivables
- Maintain and manage purchase orders as well as customer and supplier master data
- Perform customer and supplier statement reconciliations and banking reconciliations
- Support team operations during peak times or staff shortages
- Collaborate closely with international and local stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution
- Escalate policy-related issues to the ARAP Team Supervisor when needed
- Ensure compliance with financial laws, internal controls (ICF), policies, and guidelines
- Support the wider regional ARAP team with additional tasks when required
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable roles
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to manage AP and AR financial records
- Experience in credit control
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Fluent Finnish and English skills
- Other Nordic or European language skills are considered an advantage
