Sales Director, Fishheart Oy Ltd

This role combines strategic responsibility with practical work – you will be involved in creating systematic sales operations, while also actively promoting sales in the field. Your responsibilities will include developing existing customer relationships, acquiring new customers, and managing the redistributor network. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, project management, and technical teams, among others. The role is an essential part of Fishheart's international growth strategy and offers an impactful opportunity to build a more sustainable future with new technology.
Your responsibilities as Sales Director:
- Fishheart's sales across Europe
- Customer relationship management and development (maintenance agreements, additional invoicing, projects
- Management of the transition phase for domestic customer relationships
- Management of the reseller network and sales support
- Acquisition of new customer relationships in prioritized markets
- Utilization of the CRM system and development of the sales pipeline structure
- Monthly sales reporting and analytics
- Development of sales processes (e.g., digital sales, partner sales, key accounts)
- Close cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Collection and utilization of customer and market data
We expect you to have:
- Strong track record of successful B2B sales in an international environment
- Interest in fishing or understanding of migratory fish behavior
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or water sector is considered an advantage – knowledge of the hydropower sector is particularly beneficial
- Ability to lead and develop sales activities independently and goal-oriented
- Good knowledge of contracts and business understanding
- Experience in utilizing CRM systems and sales metrics
- University degree (e.g., MSc, M.Sc. (Tech.), M.Sc.)
- Excellent English language skills, other European language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30–50% of the time)
