Housekeeper in Hyvinkää hotelcleaning team
We are looking for a Service Provider for Hotel Housekeeping to join our team in a permanent part-time position in a hotel in Hyvinkää.
Job Description
Your daily duties will primarily consist of hotel housekeeping tasks, which means preparing hotel rooms to an excellent standard for incoming guests. This includes changing bed linens, making beds, vacuuming floors, wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing toiletries and minibar items.
Our multicultural and cooperative team is responsible for delivering first-class housekeeping services. In addition to cleaning the rooms, the team is responsible for cleaning other hotel areas, such as stairways, lobby areas, restrooms, and carpets, as well as tasks related to maintaining and handling storage areas, cleaning trolleys, and supplies.
Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday.
The earliest morning shifts start at 8:00 AM, with staggered start times up to 10:00 AM.
The working hours are a minimum of 15 per week. Additional hours during busy periods.
The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the Property Services Sector, salary groups 1, 2, or 3 (€11.33-13.22/hour) (Salary group 3 being mostly used).
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Previous experience in cleaning and/or customer service.
- Working languages are Finnish and English. You should have at least satisfactory-level skills in one of the languages and excellent skills in the other.
- Sunny customer service attitude and customer service skills.
- Thorough yet efficient working approach.
- Good physical fitness.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.
The working languages used at work are Finnish and English. Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and customer service is considered an advantage. However, we also warmly welcome applicants who are new to the field, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Flexibility with working hours is beneficial, as shifts start at different times. The role involves physical activity throughout the workday, so good health and physical condition are required.
At SOL, the title Service Provider is used because you are responsible for the quality of the service you provide, namely delivering an excellent cleaning result.
As a Hotel Service Provider, you ensure that hotel guests enjoy clean and comfortable rooms while also helping maintain the cleanliness of public areas.
Service Providers in hotels interact with guests regularly, making customer service an important part of the role. Customer service duties mainly involve assisting and guiding guests, whether regarding hotel facilities or local attractions and services in the city.
Due to the nature of guest needs, the work can occasionally be fast-paced and requires flexibility regarding both working hours and shift lengths.
