We are now looking for you to join our team in the research programs of Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Lapin AMK). At the beginning of the year, three research programs led by leading researchers were launched at Lapin AMK. The themes of these three research programs are sustainable solutions promoting well-being, regenerative business, and renewable energy. To strengthen the activities of the research programs, we are now seeking a senior researcher for each program. The position is at level 2 (Senior Researcher) in Lapin AMK’s researcher career path model.

Your tasks will include

• Participating in the planning and implementation of the research program’s activities together with the research team.
• Preparing and implementing applied research projects.
• Publishing the results of the research projects in scientific channels.
• Actively participating in building and developing working life cooperation for the research program.
• Contributing to the development and advancement of applied research at Lapin AMK.
• The position may also include teaching duties related to the field of the research program.

What do we expect from you?

We expect you to have passion and vision for your work, as well as the ability to collaborate and a willingness to develop applied research with us. The position requires:

• A doctoral degree in the field of the research program or a closely related discipline
• Experience in successful, international-level applied research and/or research project activities
• Experience in leading roles (e.g., project manager, responsible researcher, etc.) in applied research projects
• Experience in building working life cooperation
• Fluent English skills
• Experience in teaching is considered an advantage.
