Lapland Staff is looking for Clothing Team & Outdoor Activity Workers for Lapland Safaris Hetta for the Christmas season 2026.

As a Clothing Team worker, you will assist guests to get properly dressed for winter activities for their entire holiday. Safari clothing includes overalls, woolen socks, boots, gloves, balaclava, and a hat if needed. After the safaris guests return the clothes and the clothing team is responsible for the washing and organizing of the clothing. The team also ensures that the customer premises are clean and organized. Work is an important part of the success of safari excursions.

A workday of an Outdoor Activity Worker consists of various tasks including overseeing outdoor activities in a Christmas themed activity area surrounded by Lapland’s beautiful nature. You will be working with international groups of guests, consisting of families with children. Your job is to make sure that all guests, children, and grown-ups are having a day full of joy and fun.

The work is mostly independent, but at the same time you are a part of a big team which works in the same area. Your workplace can be the toboggan slide or bobsleigh hill or you might be serving ginger breads in the snow castle and telling stories about the castle itself. You might also be part of the very important team that organizes the visits to Santa Claus himself. In Hetta, providing clothing to the guests and clothing maintenance plays a big role in the Outdoor Activity workers’ daily routines and work tasks.

Outdoor Activity Workers work during the busiest Christmas season, which means that working days are hectic and sometimes can be long. The length of the days varies according to the group and the program. The work includes preparation of the activity area and different kinds of maintenance work, as well as cleaning the area after the end of the day. The important task of providing clothing for our guests can also be your responsibility, as well as clothing maintenance.

Communication with guests is conducted mainly in English. Your English language skills do not have to be excellent, but you need to be able to give instructions to our guests in English and at least briefly answer their questions or direct the questions to another colleague. Lapland Safaris provides new employees with paid, role-specific training at the beginning of their employment.

The employment relationship is a fixed term seasonal contract by the Collective Agreement in the Adventure Services sector. Work will begin at the end of November and will last approximately until the beginning of January. Salary according to the Collective Agreement of Adventure Services grade A, hourly wage starting from 10,10 € (gross). Work will be done also during weekends and public holidays. Sundays and Finnish bank holidays are paid double. Accommodation is organized in shared rooms, with reasonable rent in comparison to the local price level.
