Clothing Team worker, Lapland Safaris
Lapland Staff is looking for Clothing Team workers for various locations of Lapland Safaris for the Christmas season 2025. We are looking for Clothing Team workers to work in Saariselkä, Rovaniemi, Kittilä and Hetta.
As a Clothing Team worker, you will assist guests to get properly dressed for winter activities or their entire holiday. Safari clothing includes overalls, woolen socks, boots, gloves, balaclava, and a hat if needed. After the safaris guests return the clothes and the clothing team is responsible for the washing and organizing of the clothing. The team also ensures that the customer premises are clean and organized. Work is an important part of the success of safari excursions.
You are the person we are looking for if you are customer service oriented and have a positive attitude towards your work. We value diligence, initiative, teamwork skills, and conscientiousness in our employees.
Due to the busy nature of seasonal work, we require flexibility in working hours and the ability to withstand pressure brought by the demands and challenges set by the work. Work is often physically demanding. Sometimes the working days can be long, and the work is done on weekdays, weekends, and Christmas holidays.
Communication with guests is conducted mainly in English. Your English language skills do not have to be excellent, but you need to be able to give instructions to our guests in English and at least briefly answer their questions or direct the questions to another colleague. Other language skills, especially Spanish and French, are also useful in our fell destinations. Previous experience of similar tasks in the field of tourism is considered advantageous, as well as experience driving a large van (class B driver’s license) in arctic conditions.
In Kittilä the Clothing Team Workers are part of the Lapland Safaris Ylläs team, but the work is done at Kittilä airport clothing venue, and they are accommodated near Kittilä. At the airport the focus is mainly on dressing up groups that stay for a few days.
In Rovaniemi we are looking for local employees who already have an apartment / accommodation in Rovaniemi. Working days are more often focused on weekdays, with daytime working hours, rather than weekends and evenings.
In Hetta our Clothing team members also work as Outdoor Activity Instructors for our Christmas-themed activities.
We offer you:
A great team and beautiful working surroundings
