The Centre for Multilingual Academic Communication (Movi) is a multilingual and multicultural expert unit for academic communication and language learning and teaching. Movi is responsible for the communication and language studies in the degree programmes of the University of Jyväskylä as well as for its university pedagogical education. Movi supports the internationalisation of the university and the academic study ability of its students while developing solutions for flexible pedagogy and continuous learning. Movi works in close cooperation with the university departments and their staff. In addition, Movi provides education in academic writing and scientific communication for doctoral students as well as a wide range of communication and language training for staff.
